Interior Designer/Sales Associate

We are looking for a passionate sales associate who is naturally engaging to manage our showroom and create a WOW customer experience. Your professional experience should have prepared you to engage customers at every touch point. In coordination with other members, you would be tasked with managing the showroom, strategically designing novel events, and providing a unique visual customer experience in our location. Attention to detail, event planning, and merchandising will be essential to excelling in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver excellent customer service
• Maintain email list and grow contacts
• Retail merchandising window and display change
• Gift wrap and sales presentation
• Stay informed and familiar with all products and services offered
• Educate customers on the features and benefits of furniture and accessories
• Process register transactions accurately and efficiently
• Represent the brand through polished communication, personal appearance, and professionalism
• Inventory management
• Host weekly neighborhood micro events

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of experience in retail or home furnishings industry
• Ability to work independently, diligently and remain motivated
• Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
• Event planning
• Hosting
• Proficient with current technology i.e. iPads, MAC, PC

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 50 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelines
• Ability to maneuver effectively around sales floor and stockroom
• Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $16 - 18 base per hour

• Schedule:
• 4 hour shift
• Day and early evening shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay based on personal sales
• Bonus based on overall performance

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
