Interior Fit-Out Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled Interior Fit-Out Draftsman with at least 4 years of UAE experience to prepare detailed shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of UAE authority requirements, construction standards, and interior fit-out execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed interior fit-out shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop layout, partition, reflected ceiling plan (RCP), flooring, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP engineers, project managers, and site engineers to ensure accurate drawing submissions.
• Review IFC drawings and prepare coordinated shop drawings before execution.
• Produce detailed furniture and joinery drawings for factory production.
• Ensure drawings comply with UAE regulations, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments and site conditions.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, verification, and coordination when required.
• Maintain drawing revisions and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist the project team in resolving technical and coordination issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of interior fit-out detailing, joinery, gypsum works, ceiling systems, flooring, glass, and metal works.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority submission requirements.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
