Job Title: Interior Fitout Project Engineer

Experience Required: 6+ years in Interior Fitout / Joinery / Construction in UAE

Job Summary:

The Interior Fitout Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing fitout projects, ensuring that all works are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site management skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site activities and ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, highlighting risks and delays.
• Liaise with designers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for approvals and coordination.
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are delivered and utilized efficiently.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and quality control measures.
• Attend site meetings, provide technical input, and update progress reports.
• Support project handover process including snag rectification and close-out documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years’ UAE experience in interior fitout project execution.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination abilities.
• Ability to handle fast-paced projects with tight deadlines.
