Interior Remodeling Skilled Position

<Job Overview>

Work directly with the company owner on interior remodeling projects in the south hills neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. We specialize in kitchen, bath and basement remodeling projects.

We are seeking an employee with experience in a number of areas associated with interior remodeling, including: Demolition, plumbing, electrical, insulation, drywall finishing, painting, cabinetry, flooring, tile and more.

Attention to detail, problem solving, respect for clients and the work place are an absolute necessity.

The company has been in business for 7 years and has built a solid reputation in the area. We have jobs booked out for well over a year. There is opportunity to grow and become a team leader as the company expands into multiple crews.

Duties including, but not limited to:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide remodeling projects with precision.
• Perform a variety of skilled tasks including framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and door hanging.
• Install flooring, tile, cabinetry, glass, and countertops with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently.
• Conduct construction inspections to ensure work meets design specifications and quality standards.
• Manage construction site activities including layout, concrete forming and finishing, masonry work, roofing repairs or installations, and restoration tasks.
• Apply caulking, painting, masonry techniques, welding, and other finishing touches to complete projects seamlessly.

Must Have:

• Proven experience in interior remodeling or related construction fields with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Photo portfolio of your specific work is helpful.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques. Must have basic hand tools
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ability to perform detailed construction inspection and quality control checks throughout each project phase.
• Experience with more than one of these areas ( plumbing systems, electrical wiring, masonry, tile laying, drywall, painting is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
