K—DA is a boutique architecture and interior design firm based in DUMBO. We specialize in high-end residential projects — NYC townhouses, luxury apartment renovations, single family homes, and interiors.

We're looking for an intermediate designer to join our studio. You'll work across all phases — schematic design through construction administration — on projects where your contributions are genuinely visible.

What The Role Looks Like

You'll be involved in all aspects of the project from initial conception and ideation, project management and coordination, 3D modeling and client presentations, material and finish selections, construction documentation and detailing, filing sets, and site visits.

This is also a moment of growth for K—DA, and we're looking for someone who's excited to be part of that and help shape the next phase of our office.

What We're Looking For

Three to five years of professional experience in architecture or interior design, with a degree in architecture or comparable background.

Organized and self-directed.

We are looking for candidates with construction document experience and somebody who cares about materials, details, and the craft of making spaces feel right.

Relevant experience in high-end single family NYC work is a plush.

Vectorworks and Lumion experience is a plus, not a requirement.

You must be authorized to work in the U.S. This is an in-person position; we're only considering candidates based in the NYC area.

The studio

This is an in person position - we work from our DUMBO office three to five days a week. We are dedicated to a work/life harmony and provide the flexibility required to achieve it.
