THE DIVISION:

Jonas Software is the leading provider of enterprise management software solutions in 17 vertical industries. Within each vertical market, Jonas boasts a group of market-leading brands, all of which are respected and longstanding leaders within their own domain. Jonas is an operating group of Constellation Software Inc. (CSI) - publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol CSU. Constellation Software Inc. acquires, maintains, supports, and enhances software systems for life. This position is part of our Jonas Club ERP's global R&D team. Worldwide, over 2,200 clubs in more than 17 countries with memberships ranging from 100 to 20,000, utilize the Jonas Club ERP software to build and enrich member relationships, increase revenues, and decrease costs.

THE POSITION:

We are seeking a motivated an Intermediate Software Developer with strong experience in .NET Core to help design, build, and maintain scalable backend services that power key features of the Jonas suite. You will be part of a collaborative engineering team delivering mission‑critical APIs and services used by clubs and members worldwide. The successful hire will work from the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office as part of the resource-center team that is an extension of the division-based R&D department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using .NET Core.

Build and support RESTful APIs consumed by internal applications and external interfaces.

Work with SQL Server databases for schema design, queries, and performance optimization.

Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate server services with UI components.

Write clear and effective documentation for code and APIs.

Participate in code reviews and help maintain engineering standards.

Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience building backend applications with .NET Core.

Strong C# and OOP fundamentals.

Experience developing REST APIs and working with SQL databases.

Familiarity with Git or equivalent version control.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving skills, and communication skills.

Proven ability to build software with a security-first mindset, including awareness of secure coding practices and data protection.

GOOD TO HAVE:

Exposure to React and modern frontend frameworks.

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Knowledge of secure API best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
