The unpaid ISG Internship Program offers undergraduate students in their 3rd or 4th year of university the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an international school environment. Interns will work within a designated central office department, develop professional and cultural competencies, and receive mentorship to support personal growth, teamwork, and workplace readiness. The program is offered twice a year, with cohorts beginning in September and February each year.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Demonstrate commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection).
- Assist in daily operations and projects within the assigned department (Finance, Human Resources, Teaching and Learning, Operations and Facilities, or IT).
- Collaborate with staff members in planning, problem-solving, and project execution.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and team activities.
- Perform documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and initiative in all assigned responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be currently enrolled in a recognized university bachelor’s program (3rd or 4th year).
- Have completed at least two years of undergraduate study.
- Have an endorsement letter from the university.
- Have availability to commit to a 4–16-week full-time program (7:30 am – 3:30 pm, Sunday–Thursday).
- Have general knowledge of their chosen field of study (e.g., finance, HR, education, IT, operations).
