Intern - 2D Animation

BACKGROUND

What is CHANGE LAB®?

There's something different going on here. This is not the same old lectures and videos. Nope. We’re talking interactive. We are based in Los Angeles and have developed a gamified software classroom for nonprofit training- a fun, crazy, engaging experience. Oh, and by the way, fun and crazy is how we all learn best. We have developed a highly engaging learning experience that works, utilizing Games, AR/VR and AI. You can see more at www.changelab.studio. Launched in Q4 2024 we are now focused on AI models, finishing up current Part II trainings, pursuing industry partnerships and engagement and developing some pretty exciting industry projects for our talented studio side.

DUTIES

Included but are not limited to:

· Refine and develop infographics for our website's "hero" section

.Design and produce social media

.Assist in producing special business industry projects for our talented studio, inclulding some that are international

.Refine/produce 2D characters and assets for new courses under production

· Adhere to graphic guidelines, and the Style and Standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have good communication skills as well as proficiency in 2D character and asset creation. Must possess at least two years of education in 2D animation and have an online portfolio for review. The ideal candidate is interested in nonprofits and has a flexible schedule that allows for Tuesday and Thursdays in our downtown Los Angeles office, has transportation or access to the Metro (our office is 4 blocks from the 7/8th street stop) or numerous commuter bus lines. Important that the ideal candidate is interested in committing to a minimum of 12 weeks. Multiple paid parking lots in the area as well (we do not have parking spaces. )

COURSE CREDIT

Our internships generally are designed for students seeking course credit or wishing to volunteer for the 12 week internship to build out their portfolio. On occasion we will consider the nominal stipend.
