Intern Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative Intern is responsible for supporting the commercial growth of Tarabut's Data & AI product suite — spanning IBAN Verification, Connect (Open Banking API), Target (Financial Intelligence Platform), and Income Insights — by managing customer relationships, executing outbound campaigns, and driving acquisition activities across the KSA, Bahrain, and UAE markets.

This role sits within the Commercial team and is ideal for someone at the start of their commercial career who is highly organized, confident communicating with financial institutions, and motivated to take real ownership from day one. The position offers meaningful development opportunities, with a clear path to a full-time commercial role for strong performers.


Requirements

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a key contact for inbound interest across banks, fintechs, lenders, and capital houses.

  • Manage day-to-day customer communication, ensuring satisfaction and spotting expansion opportunities.

  • Coordinate customer meetings with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams.

  • Outbound & Pipeline Development

  • Design and execute outbound campaigns in collaboration with Account Managers to generate pipeline across target verticals.

  • Research and qualify prospective accounts across fintechs, financial institutions, lenders, and capital markets players.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and support pipeline reporting and visibility.

  • Commercial Enablement

  • Prepare pitch decks and commercial materials tailored to specific customer segments and use cases.

  • Support Account Managers in pitching, proposals, and managing early-stage commercial conversations.

  • Assist with event preparation and representation at industry engagements across the region.

  • Learning, Growth & Development

  • Build product knowledge across Tarabut's Data & AI suite and broader open banking ecosystem.

  • Develop core commercial skills including outreach, discovery, objection handling, and stakeholder communication.

  • Demonstrate consistent initiative and willingness to take on increasing responsibility over time.

  • Requirements

  • Fluent in Arabic and English — written and spoken.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with customers across financial services.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through reliably.

  • Genuine interest in fintech, open banking, data products, or financial infrastructure.

  • Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.

  • Prior experience in a commercial, customer-facing, or financial services setting is a plus — internships included.
