Snohomish County - The Future We Choose
STATEMENT OF ESSENTIAL INTERNSHIP DUTIES
Assists with implementation of public engagement and communications activities for department programs and projects.
Creates and/or edits communications content, including newsletters, press releases, social media content, special presentations, and other informational and outreach materials.
Assists in working with the departments as needed to design, produce, and distribute informational material to the public.
Assists in the development of a digital media strategy for distributing informational material to the public.
STATEMENT OF OTHER INTERNSHIP DUTIES
Performs other duties as assigned with an emphasis on communication and public engagement efforts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must provide proof of enrollment in an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of the internship. For summer internships, proof of enrollment for either the summer or upcoming fall term is acceptable.
