We are seeking a motivated and creative Corporate Communications Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in internal communications and employee engagement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, content creation, and helping bring a company’s culture and values to life through impactful communication.
This is a paid internship designed to provide meaningful, real-world experience in a corporate environment, with exposure to cross-functional teams and key communication initiatives. The duration is intended to be approximately 12 weeks, with flexibility to align with the candidate’s schedule.
What You’ll Do:
This is a Full-Time Hourly Position
- Assist in creating internal communications content, including email updates, newsletters, intranet posts, and presentations.
- Support the development of engaging content to promote company initiatives, culture, and events.
- Help maintain and update internal communication platforms to ensure content is timely and relevant.
- Assist in drafting written materials such as blogs, announcements, FAQs, and employee-facing messaging.
- Support coordination of internal events and employee engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR, Marketing, and Creative teams on communication projects.
- Help track engagement metrics and gather feedback to evaluate communication effectiveness.
- Assist with maintaining content calendars and organizing communication plans.
- Support administrative and project coordination tasks related to corporate communications.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance employee engagement and communication strategies.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Environmental Factors & Working Schedule:
- Hybrid work environment, 2-3 days in-person attendance (Pittsburgh, PA) in addition to ability to work remotely.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in corporate communications, employee engagement, or internal branding.
- Ability to translate ideas into clear, engaging content.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with Canva or Adobe tools is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
