As an Education Program Intern on our Training & Education team, you'll play a key role in shaping customer success through impactful learning experiences. You'll blend your passion for teaching with a data-informed approach to design and deliver engaging, self-paced training content for a global and diverse audience. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, you'll create new learning pathways while enhancing existing product education. You'll also get hands-on with one of the most powerful iPaaS platforms on the market—building automations and working closely with customers as part of our training team.
You will also be responsible to:
Design and develop online learning experiences that align with learning outcomes, apply research-based learning principles, and inform learner progress and success in the Workato online learning environments including Automation Institute
Gain domain knowledge to identify and clearly communicate highly complex content and present and refine learning design proposals
Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other learning experience designers to identify learning goals and learning outcomes for online learning experiences
Use eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate, TechSmith Camtasia, and SkillJar, to build online learning experiences that include assessments, interactive activities, animated videos, graphics and images, SCORM-compliant modules, and text-based content
Maintain knowledge of new developments in learning science, learning design, and learning technologies
Learn about IPaaS technologies to build integrations and automations to assist the team in different projects
Conduct live training sessions with customers to cover the basics of the Workato platform
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications, or a related field—or possess relevant experience in content creation, enablement, or program/project management
Able to commit to a full-time 12-month role, collaborating effectively across global teams, time zones and cultural considerations
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proven experience collaborating with subject matter experts to design online curriculum
Solid project management skills: able to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks to completion
Proficient in tools like SmartSheets, Jira, or similar project management platforms
Skilled in creating digital learning assets (e.g., simulations, animations, graphics, presentations)
Data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Experience developing training across multiple modalities—virtual, hands-on, instructor-led, remote, synchronous, and asynchronous—for diverse audiences
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
Adaptable and proactive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Critical thinker with strong analytical skills and a bias for action
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize under pressure
Quick learner who can independently research and synthesize information
Willing to take initiative and own emerging responsibilities
