Join a fast-growing streaming television network's post-production division to help scale premium lifestyle, food and culture documentaries distributed across major OTT platforms, including Roku and Amazon Fire TV. We are seeking motivated remote junior video editors across the United States who want to bridge the gap between academia and the professional entertainment industry by earning real-world, network broadcast credits.
The Opportunity and Program Structure
This position operates as an immersive academic editing, fellowship, and collaborative co-op. To ensure an optimal and supportive learning environment, you will work within an innovative, two editor "buddy system". You will collaborate directly with a peer to take raw episode footage across the finish line using pre-built network assets, show style guides and master templates. This structure guarantees you are never left to figure things out alone, providing a built-in peer review mechanism.

- Academic & Institutional alignment: This program is structured exclusively for university enrollment. We provide full documentation, coordinator sign-offs and compliance paperwork required to fulfill your university's internship or elective course credit requirements.
- Executive Mentorship: Receive direct, weekly one-on-one and group feedback sessions from the network's executive production and logistics management teams, mirroring a professional studio workflow.
- Master Templates and Workflow Mastery: Gain hands-on experience using professional network show bibles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and shared revision logging architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Replicate established network editing styles and structural pacing for ongoing docuseries.
- Alternate roles per episode: manage structural narrative cuts (A-Roll storytelling or visual polishing (B-roll integration, color grading, audio mixing and graphics tracking).
- Collaborate seamlessly with your paired remote editing partner to submit single, unified cuts to the management team.
- Integrate precise technical corrections from executive production revision logs within 48 hour turnarounds.
Schedule:
- 12 - 15 hours per week (flexible schedule: Monday-Friday)
- Once a week mandatory 60-minute remote team production sync.
Qualifications and Software Requirements:
- Current student or recent graduate eligible for academic credit/co-op recognition in Film, Video Production, Digital Media or a related field at an accredited US institution.
- Intermediate proficiency in industry standard NLEs (Adobe Premier Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro).
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection capable of downloading and uploading large video asset files.
- Solid foundational understanding of multi cam syncing, basic keyframing and narrative editing workflows.
