Intern, Finance & Accounting

Sage Freight is looking for ambitious and motivated Accounting & Finance students and graduates to join our Accounting & Finance Internship Program. This 90-day opportunity is designed to provide hands-on exposure to real-world finance operations, professional workplace practices, and US GAAP accounting standards in a fast-paced business environment.

Interns will work closely with the finance team to develop practical accounting knowledge, strengthen analytical and communication skills, and gain meaningful industry experience while contributing to day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the finance team with daily accounting and operational tasks.
• Support financial reporting, reconciliations, and documentation processes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely data entry.
• Collaborate with team members on assigned finance projects and tasks.
• Learn and apply accounting principles in a professional environment.
• Participate in training sessions, evaluations, and performance reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Final-year BS Accounting & Finance student or ACCA Finalist/Affiliate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively in a structured, fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic
