Job Summary:

Working from our Corporate Office in Indianapolis, IN we are seeking a highly motivated Employee Experience Intern to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program. The Employee Experience team helps the company meet compliance standards, ensure competitive total compensation and benefits packages, acquire and onboard new hires, and create a positive overall experience for Kite employees. KRG is a fast-paced environment and provides hands-on experience to develop skills needed to succeed in the REIT industry and the specific function relating to the internship.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience in various aspects of HR
  • Support the Employee Experience team in creating a positive experience for employees
  • Perform essential recruiting administrative tasks and gain exposure to KRG’s applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Coordinate career fairs and conduct cost analysis
  • Assist in creating and revising employee onboarding materials
  • Shadow relevant benefits and compliance tasks
  • Help with implementation of learning management system courses and required employee trainings
  • Audit and scan documents
  • Organize systems audits, create/refine safety plans, and research innovative performance management resources
  • Holistic learning experience of both HR and a REIT
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Interest in human resources, talent acquisition, and event planning
