Koniag Government Services is looking for an IT Support/Service Desk Intern to support our IT team.
Internship Responsibilities
1. Enterprise IT Operations Exposure
Support enterprise Service Desk operations through ticket documentation, workflow tracking, and user support coordination.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding workflows, including account provisioning documentation.
Participate in troubleshooting Microsoft 365 user issues under supervision.
Assist IT staff with system health monitoring and operational reporting.
2. Cloud and Microsoft Ecosystem Support
Assist with Microsoft Entra ID administrative documentation and access reviews.
Support Azure Virtual Desktop (VDI) operational tasks, including usage monitoring and user experience tracking.
Assist with SharePoint and OneDrive data organization initiatives.
Support Microsoft licensing inventory and reporting activities.
3. Digital Transformation and AI Enablement
Assist leadership teams with research on AI tools and enterprise automation opportunities.
Support Power Platform automation initiatives, including workflow documentation and testing.
Participate in pilot programs evaluating emerging SaaS technologies.
Develop technology research briefs supporting executive decision-making.
4. Enterprise Application Lifecycle Support
Assist with SaaS upgrade planning and execution activities.
Support Functional Testing and User Acceptance Testing coordination.
Assist with validation of application configuration and deployment readiness.
Participate in documenting lessons learned following system implementations.
5. IT Governance and Compliance Exposure
Assist with documentation preparation supporting compliance initiatives.
Participate in user access validation exercises.
Support data governance and classification initiatives.
Assist with asset inventory reconciliation activities.
(Note: Interns will not perform privileged cybersecurity or system administration activities.)
