Job Title: Intern Data Analyst - Group HSE

Job Purpose

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Power BI & Data Analytics Intern to join the Group HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) team at DP World.
• This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in Power BI and a strong foundation in data analysis, who are eager to contribute to data-driven decision-making in a global organization.
• The intern will support the development of dashboards, enhance reporting capabilities, and assist in documenting system functionalities to improve operational visibility, reporting efficiency, and HSE performance monitoring.
  
  

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Analyze HSE data using Excel and other analytical tools to identify trends and insights
• Support the design and automation of reporting processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective visual dashboards
• Assist in system and reporting documentation, including features, functionalities, and user guides
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HSE reporting and analytics framework
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Power BI (academic, internship, or professional projects), including basic data modeling and DAX
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables)
• Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying concepts
• Experience in documenting systems or processes is an advantage
• Basic understanding or exposure to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) data or reporting is a plus
• Exposure to working with multiple data sources (e.g., databases, APIs) is an added advantage.
