As an Intern TV Field Reporter, you will be on the front lines of breaking news, capturing compelling footage, and delivering accurate, engaging stories to our audience. Responsibilities

• Cover live and recorded news stories on location, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Capture high-quality video footage and photographs using professional videography and photography techniques
• Conduct research and fact-check information to ensure accuracy and credibility of reports
• Write clear, concise scripts and news reports adhering to AP style guidelines
• Assist in edit video clips, soundbites, and images to produce polished segments suitable for broadcast and digital platforms
• Assist with social media management by posting updates, teasers, and engaging content related to news stories
• Communicate effectively with team members, interviewees, and sources to gather information and coordinate coverage

Skills

• Proficiency in photography, videography, and video production tools
• Bilingual abilities are a plus for reaching diverse audiences
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct interviews confidently
• Sharp research skills to verify facts quickly under tight deadlines
• Experience with editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro is preferred
• Knowledge of social media platforms for content sharing and audience engagement
• Attention to detail in proofreading, copywriting, and fact-checking processes
• Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining safety protocols
