So, what responsibilities does the Internal Audit Assistant Manager take on at Otokoç Automotive?

• Provides leadership through sufficient staffing, performance management, and development of the internal audit team.
• Identifies and evaluates risks across the enterprise. Communicates critical risks to senior management and provides recommendations for appropriate risk-mitigation actions.
• Directs the activities of the internal audit department to execute the audit plan. Ensures audit engagements are appropriately planned, scheduled, and conducted. Sets standards and policies for audit engagement execution and documentation, including the use of enhanced data analytics.
• Provides a balanced evaluation of audit results and recommendations for the improvement of internal controls and operating procedures.
• Manage and further strengthen relationships and being a point of contact for business units to understand the operations and drive improvements in the control environment.
• Performs follow up on audit findings and reports on the timing and adequacy of corrective action.
• Presents insightful analysis to senior management about trends in the organization, essential developments in systems and controls, and opportunities for improvement.
• Leads the implementation of risk-based and KRI-driven audit methodology across business units.
• Develops data-driven audit dashboards and continuous monitoring mechanisms.

What are the Required Qualifications?

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Management, Economics, Statistics or engineering departments related fields from a reputable university,
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in internal/external auditing, financial auditing, audit/risk/controlling consulting,
• İnvestigation audit experience is must,
• High degree of independence and willingness to carry out structured audit plans,
• Excellent communication skills, Result-oriented, organized, Capable of working both individually and in team environments
• Advanced level of proficieny in English reporting skills,
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs, Data analysis experience and SQL knowledge will be an asset.
• Strong analytical and mathematical thinking, awareness of information security and IT environment is a plus, CIA / CRMA / CPA accreditation will be an asset.
• Ability to travel in Turkey and abroad.
• The position reports to the Internal Audit Leader
