We are seeking a Junior Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Consultant to support advisory engagements across governance, risk management, internal controls, and compliance. The role involves assisting clients in strengthening control environments, managing risk frameworks, and enhancing regulatory compliance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Governance & Internal Controls
• Support evaluation and enhancement of governance structures, policies, and procedures.
• Perform internal control reviews and assess design and operating effectiveness.
• Assist in implementing and testing control frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO standards).
Risk Management
• Conduct enterprise and operational risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Support clients in integrating risk management practices into business processes.
Compliance
• Perform compliance reviews against regulatory and internal requirements.
• Identify control gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and enhancing compliance monitoring programs.
Audit & Advisory Support
• Support internal audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Prepare structured audit reports and management presentations.
• Track remediation actions and follow up on closure of audit findings.
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
• Prepare dashboards and reports for management and audit committees.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and awareness sessions.
• Liaise with stakeholders across finance, operations, and IT functions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• ACCA, CIA, or ACA (qualified or pursuing preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Internal Controls, or Compliance.
• Experience within consulting or advisory firms is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of governance frameworks and risk methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to draft professional reports and documentation.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic (mandatory).
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
