Job Summary

Ideal School, Qatar is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to evaluate and strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and compliance across the school’s academic, administrative, and operational functions, in line with approved policies and Qatar regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits covering finance, procurement, HR, payroll, inventory, and operational processes
• Review compliance with school policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Assess risk areas and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Verify accuracy of financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation
• Review procurement, contracts, vendor payments, and inventory controls
• Prepare audit reports, observations, and follow-up action plans
• Coordinate with management to implement audit recommendations
• Support external audits and regulatory inspections when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Business Administration
• 3–5 years of internal audit experience, preferably in schools, institutions, or large organizations
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and compliance
• Familiarity with Qatar Labour Law and regulatory requirements is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit documentation
• High integrity, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Immediate joiners preferred
