INTERNAL AUDITOR-IT

Rresponsible for analyzing and assessing the University of Sharjah’s Information Technology infrastructure to ensure processes and systems run accurately and efficiently while remaining secure and meeting compliance regulations. As well as to identify any IT issues that fall under the audit, specifically those related to security and risk management.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prepare professional documents, in both Arabic and English.
• Excellent working knowledge of personal computer applications with an emphasis on MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Strong knowledge of related processes, best practices, compliance and reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail.
• A good understanding of IT security and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Data analysis and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of security testing and auditing and security risk management.
• Excellent writing, editing and documenting skills.
• Ability to build and manage positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Works as a competent member of the team, willingly providing backup support for co-workers when appropriate and actively supporting group goals.
