Internal Collections officer / Senior officer (3909)

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Description

  • Identifying the reasons for delinquency daily functions of Collections, and communicating them to all related departments in order to reconsider the policies and processes of retail products.
  • Problem solving is the ability to analyze the situation to identify the one with the best solution between debtors and bank to apply win-win situations.
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationship with all stockholders
  • Contact and communicate effectively with debtors by phone or face to face to pay the arrears.
  • Adhere to adding daily productivity timely on collections tools.
  • Achieve the monthly target based on the final scorecard
  • Educate customers to pay their arrears on cycle date to enhance the delinquency.
  • Achieve the daily required productivity (Trails, daily worked accounts, contacts, un-posted …etc.
  • Adhere world class customer service.
  • Adhere and finalize the required tasks on deadline.
  • Act as the collections manager if required any time.
  • Create plans and strategy for collecting debits Identifying high risk & skip accounts for referrals to higher level.



Policies, processes and procedures:
Follow all relevant approved department’s policies, and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

Day-to-Day Management:
Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the department to ensure continuity of work.

Compliance:
Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal EG Bank policies and code of conduct to maintain EG Bank’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.

Internal: Retail, IT Department, Operation
External: Customers

6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Qualifications and Experience:
1. University degree from a reputable university.
2. For officer: Min. 0 – 4 years’ experience in a related field.
3. For Senior Officer: Min. 3 – 5 years’ experience in a related field.
4. Experience within Banking Industry will be considered as an asset

Skills:
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic languages (written and spoken).
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent in excel.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Problem solver.
  • Manage the time efficiently.
  • Attention to detail.
