Internal Communication Specialist

The Client:

Our client is a leading diversified conglomerate in Saudi Arabia. As they continue to strengthen their internal culture and employer brand, they are seeking a dynamic Internal Communications Specialist to enhance employee engagement and drive impactful communication initiatives across the organization.


The Role:

As the Internal Communications Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping how employees connect with the company’s vision, values, and initiatives. Reporting to the Organizational Development Manager (ODM), you will be responsible for developing and executing communication programs that foster transparency, engagement, and a strong sense of community. The key responsibilities would revolve around:

  • Analyze organizational communication priorities and develop annual internal communication plans for approval.
  • Create, edit, and adapt employee messages, communication templates, and themes to resonate with diverse internal audiences.
  • Manage the employee intranet, ensuring content is fresh, engaging, and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the company’s LinkedIn presence, proactively sharing corporate stories and employer branding initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and develop creative campaigns that enhance awareness and participation.
  • Design and adapt communication material (including graphic design and certificates) to ensure clarity, consistency, and impact.
  • Identify the most effective communication channels and propose new platforms to enhance reach and relevance.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to ensure smooth execution of communication roll-out plans.
  • Partner with talent acquisition and organizational development teams to strengthen the company’s employer branding efforts.
  • Track, measure, and report communication effectiveness using surveys and analytics dashboards.
  • The Ideal Candidate:

    • 3–5 years of proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications.
    • Native-level Arabic speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
    • Demonstrated experience managing intranet platforms and professional social media channels (especially LinkedIn).
    • Strong background in employee engagement initiatives with the ability to create impactful, employee-centric campaigns.
    • Graphic design skills with hands-on experience in designing templates, certificates, and visual communication materials.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across functions, adapting messages for various employee segments.
    • Strong organizational, project management, and vendor coordination skills.
    • A creative, proactive communicator who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about fostering a positive employee culture.
