In collaboration with other members of the team, this role will include managing the department’s editorial calendar, contributing to overall departmental news strategy, and leading efforts to provide timely reporting on news channel analytics and audience engagement data. This team member will also work closely with other members of the UPMC Internal Communications team to support various communications projects for internal physician-related clients, including writing, editing, design, client management, project tracking and more.
The preferred candidate will have demonstrated writing and editing skills, keen news judgement, superb attention to detail, adept problem-solving ability, and experience in a fast-moving work environment and be willing to regularly seek ways to improve and innovate projects and processes to better engage key audiences.
