Internal Control & Compliance Manager

This role is critical for managing the business functions with internal compliance relating to but not limited to SOx audit process, internal audit process and external audit processes. Also manages business functions with compliance with Business Integrity Group policies - especially but not limited to SOBC, TPAFC, Sanctions, SCCP etc


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead and manage SOX Performance Management, ensuring timely testing, remediation, and reporting

  • Oversee the Risk Register and Control Navigator, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting

  • Administer and escalate Immediately Reportable Incidents by analysing risks across departments

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to identify and remediate control gaps and breakdowns

  • Conduct detailed financial risk analysis across commercial and operational teams for control gaps/breakdowns

  • Manage Coupa Risk Assess (CRA) activities for third-party and supplier risk assessments

  • Periodically review and update internal policies and procedures with stakeholder input

  • Maintain and monitor Delegation of Authorities across TBNC

  • Respond to and resolve ad-hoc control issues swiftly and effectively

  • Collaborate with Legal on Sanctions and Counter-Terrorist Financing risks to ensure regulatory compliance

  • To comply with Company EHS & Security policies – act as a role model as LT team

  • To comply with all compliance procedures of the Company


EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

Experience Required

  • 6+ years’ experience with a reputable audit firm and/or corporate industry experience (FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment)


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Deep expertise in compliance frameworks, including SOX and risk management standards

  • Proficient in enterprise risk tools such as CRA and internal control tracking systems

  • Advanced use of MS Office applications

  • Strong analytical acumen for financial data interpretation and risk evaluation

  • Skilled at building cross-departmental relationships and leading control improvement initiatives

  • High proficiency in policy development, review cycles, and procedural governance

  • Comfortable acting as a liaison between internal stakeholders

  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments with a proactive approach to incident and issue resolution


Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree educated with relevant professional qualification

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
