As a lead internal IT auditor, you'll deliver complex technology and information security audits while partnering closely with IT and InfoSec leaders. You'll manage audits from planning and fieldwork through reporting and remediation, providing clear, risk-focused insights that strengthen control environments and support business objectives. As a trusted advisor, you'll guide and coach other auditors, apply established audit methodologies, and communicate findings to senior partners within a regulated financial services environment.


This is a hybrid role, requiring work from our headquarters in Mayfield Village, OH

Must-have qualifications

  • A minimum of 9 years of Information Technology, Audit, or related work experience.
  • Or bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 6 years Information Technology, Audit, or related work experience.

Preferred skills

  • Formal IT audit experience through Big 4, public accounting, or a structured internal audit program within areas like financial services or insurance environments.
  • End-to-end ownership of IT audit engagements, including SOX and IT general controls (ITGC) scoping, fieldwork execution, issue validation, and final reporting.
  • Demonstrated application of audit methodology and professional standards, including IIA standards, with strong workpaper development and documentation quality.
  • Experience leading or supervising auditors on complex audits, serving as engagement lead or day-to-day project manager.
  • Proven ability to synthesize audit results and draft clear, executive-ready audit findings and reports for senior IT and business collaborators.

Compensation

  • $98,400 - $131,200/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
