Internal Medicine Consultant

We're hiring for a leading healthcare company an experienced Internal Medicine Consultant to join on a full-time basis.

As an Internal Medicine Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Your primary role will be to diagnose, treat, and manage these conditions, as well as provide preventive care and health education to patients. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medical assessments and examinations of patients to determine their medical conditions and develop treatment plans

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, imaging, and other laboratory tests

• Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments to patients

• Monitor and manage the progress of patients' conditions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed

• Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families on managing their conditions and maintaining overall wellness

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as specialists, nurses, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients

• Stay current with advancements in the field of internal medicine and participate in continuing education and training opportunities

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited university

• Board certification in Internal Medicine

• Valid medical license in the state of practice

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Internal Medicine Consultant

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Proven track record of providing high-quality patient care

• Knowledge of electronic medical records systems

• Willingness to participate in on-call duties and work flexible hours as needed
