Internal Medicine Physician needed for Primary Care Practice in Union Square!

The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Physician to join its Faculty Practice at Mount Sinai Downtown in Union Square. It is located at 10 Union Square East at the heart of the Mount Sinai Downtown Network, near a busy subway station, and in close proximity to tons of choices for food and drink. This multi-specialty practice works in close collaboration with specialists throughout the building and with additional services including radiology, physical therapy, and urgent care.While working in conjunction with several other PCPs and specialists, as well as administrative staff members, the ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. We would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for primary care and be fully committed to mission of Mount Sinai Health System. The physician should be amenable to some evenings and weekends. Additionally, there is the opportunity to teach third year medical students from Icahn School of Medicine as well as serve as a preceptor for our internal medicine residents from Mount Sinai Beth Israel at our dedicated teaching practice General Medical Associates.

The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with world renowned, Icahn School of Medicine. Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Some Experience preferred
  • Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
  • Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

Compensation range from 225K to 250K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
