Job Purpose:
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing cross-border legal issues, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and providing strategic legal advice to support our global operations The ideal candidate will have significant experience in international law, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes across various jurisdictions
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the drafting, review, negotiation of contracts, agreements, and NDAs and provide guidance to team members on contractual matters

Lead the development, implementation, and periodic review of internal compliance policies-
Offer strategic insights to support business decisions and mitigate legal risks-
Oversee due diligence reviews and processes, ensuring thorough analysis and risk assessment for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships Mentor and develop team members and employees on due diligence practices-
Conduct and supervise in-depth legal studies on regulations and laws in countries where the company plans to expand-
Design, coordinate, and deliver compliance training programs for employees to raise awareness of regulatory requirements and company policies-
Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all deliverables Manage the archiving system of contracts, ensuring that all contracts, agreements, and legal documents are properly categorized, stored, and maintained in compliance with legal and company standards-
Oversee and maintain an effective contract management system to track contract deadlines, renewals, amendments, and compliance-
- Collaborate with other departments to align legal and compliance strategies with overall business objectives
Job Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of international trade and its challenges
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent computer skills
- Abilities: Problem-solving & Decision making, Leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; English or French
10-15 years of experience-
- Fluent English language is a must
Post-graduate studies in international law of commerce will be an asset
