International Procurement Supervisor

Job Summary:
To manage and streamline the import and international shipping process by ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant deliveries, while coordinating with global partners, negotiating
contracts, and optimizing supplier performance to support supply chain efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end import and shipment process.
• Source and conduct supplier performance evaluations, maintain vendor scorecards, and recommend corrective actions when needed.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with international suppliers to ensure optimal cost and value.
• Forecast shipping rates, transit times, and customs clearance durations; ensure adherence to cost, time, and SLA agreements.
• Track, monitor, and report on the status of all incoming shipments; proactively resolve any delays or discrepancies.
• Prepare and review all shipping documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
• Ensure full compliance with all international trade regulations, import/export documentation standards, and customs requirements. Resp.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics service providers to ensure timely and compliant deliveries.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams for inbound planning and receiving schedules.
• Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with key vendors, ensuring consistent quality and service.
• Manage and resolve supplier issues or disputes related to quality, delivery, or contract terms.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in the fields of supply chain and logistics.
- Proven knowledge of customs clearance, international shipping procedures, and regulatory compliance
- 3-5 years’ experience.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Process improvement and project management mindset
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
- Ability to work either independently or collaboratively as needed.
- Distinctly self-motivated and cable of handling multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
