International Sales Executive

Position Summary

The International Sales Executive is responsible for generating business opportunities, acquiring new clients, and achieving revenue targets through the promotion of GII's training programs, conferences, consulting services, and customized corporate solutions. The role requires active engagement with decision-makers across industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Aviation, Maritime, Government, Banking, and Telecommunications in international markets.

Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the GCC, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and other target markets.
  • Promote public training courses, in-house training programs, conferences, and consulting services.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Conduct virtual and face-to-face meetings with prospective clients.

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop long-term relationships with corporate clients and key decision-makers.
  • Understand client training and organizational development needs.
  • Prepare customized training and consulting proposals.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close sales opportunities.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Market Research & Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends and identify emerging training requirements.
  • Research target companies and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze competitors' offerings and pricing strategies.
  • Provide market intelligence to management for strategic planning.

Proposal & Tender Management

  • Prepare professional proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
  • Coordinate with trainers and operations teams to develop customized solutions.
  • Assist in responding to RFPs, RFQs, and corporate tenders.
  • Follow up on submitted proposals and negotiations.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
  • Track conversion rates, pipeline value, and forecasted revenue.
  • Ensure all sales activities are documented and updated regularly.

Event & Training Promotion

  • Promote upcoming public training programs and conferences.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams for lead-generation campaigns.
  • Support delegate registrations and corporate nominations.
  • Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, corporate training sales, conference sales, or consulting services.
  • Experience selling to corporate clients in GCC and international markets is preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Monthly and annual sales revenue achievement.
  • Number of new corporate accounts acquired.

  • Training registrations and delegate enrollments.
  • Customer retention and repeat business percentage.
  • Pipeline growth and forecast accuracy.
