Job Description &ndash; Data Entry Operator (Excel Typing)Position Title: Data Entry Operator Department: Administration / Operations Location: 11-B North Karachi Reporting To: [Supervisor/Manager ]Job Summary:The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurately typing, updating, and organizing information in Microsoft Excel sheets. The role requires strong typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain data accuracy and confidentiality.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Enter, update, and maintain data in Excel spreadsheets with accuracy.</li><li>Prepare, sort, and compile data before entry.</li><li>Verify and cross-check data for errors or missing information.</li><li>Format Excel sheets as required (tables, formulas, filters, alignment).</li><li>Maintain and update records, logs, and reports.</li><li>Ensure data confidentiality and follow company data security policies.</li><li>Retrieve data from various sources and input into spreadsheets.</li><li>Assist in generating basic data reports from Excel.</li><li>Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.</li><li>Perform any additional clerical or administrative tasks as assigned.</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Skills:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in Computer/IT is preferred.</li><li>Strong typing speed and accuracy.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, formatting, sorting, filtering).</li><li>Good command over MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.</li><li>Good communication skills.</li><li>Prior experience in data entry or clerical tasks is an advantage.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience working with large Excel datasets.</li><li>Basic knowledge of data cleaning and data formatting.</li><li>Familiarity with office equipment (scanners, printers).</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs10,000.00 - Rs20,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
