Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Intern (B2B) to support our sales and business development team in identifying prospective corporate clients, generating leads, conducting market research, and assisting in the promotion of training programs and corporate learning solutions.
This internship provides hands-on exposure to B2B sales, lead generation, client relationship management, and corporate training sales.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential corporate clients through LinkedIn, company websites, industry directories, and databases.
- Build and maintain a database of prospects and decision-makers.
- Generate qualified leads for training programs and corporate learning solutions.
- Update CRM and sales records regularly.
Sales Support
- Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, quotations, and client presentations.
- Support follow-up activities with prospective and existing clients.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate appointments with potential customers.
- Assist in preparing sales reports and pipeline updates.
Market Research
- Conduct industry and competitor research.
- Identify emerging training needs and market opportunities.
- Gather information on target organizations and key decision-makers.
Client Engagement
- Support email marketing and outreach campaigns.
- Assist in responding to client inquiries.
- Maintain professional communication with prospective clients.
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate sales documentation.
- Assist in event and training program coordination.
- Support data entry and reporting activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (completed or currently pursuing) in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of B2B sales concepts.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and online research tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Knowledge of corporate training and professional development industry.
- Confidence in making business calls and sending professional emails.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
