Job Description – Sr. Manager / HOD, Export Sales (Quartz Division)
Position: Sr. Manager / HOD – Export Sales

Reporting to: Director – Sales & Marketing / Plant Head
Key Responsibilities
Export Market Development
- Formulate and execute strategies to expand sales in international markets (USA, Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pacific).
- Identify, develop, and manage global distributors, importers, and direct clients.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor benchmarking for positioning.
International Client Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with overseas customers.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and supply agreements.
- Ensure excellent customer service to enhance brand credibility.
Export Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all export documentation, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics partners for timely shipments at optimum costs.
- Manage LCs, payment terms, and international banking transactions.
Marketing & Brand Building
- Represent the company in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business meets.
- Support digital and traditional marketing strategies to strengthen brand presence overseas.
- Collaborate with R&D and production for customized products for regional markets.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, guide, and motivate the export sales team to achieve global revenue goals.
- Monitor performance country-wise and develop region-specific action plans.
- Prepare annual sales budgets, targets, and business expansion strategies.
Reporting & MIS
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and business intelligence for global markets.
- Provide periodic updates and insights to senior management.
Skills & Competencies
- In-depth understanding of international trade and export processes in Quartz / Building Materials.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-cultural relationship management skills.
- Strong leadership with ability to grow business in competitive global markets.
- Knowledge of export documentation, logistics, and international compliance norms.
Qualification & Experience
- Education: MBA (International Business / Sales & Marketing) or equivalent.
- Experience: 12–15 years in export sales of Quartz / Ceramics / Building Materials, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in managing large global accounts and expanding international business.
