Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research & Forecasting:

 Conduct in-depth research on global agriculture commodities markets, including crops,

livestock, and related products.

 Collect and analyze data on market trends, pricing, supply and demand dynamics, and

regulatory changes.

 Monitor geopolitical events and their potential impact on the agriculture commodities

market.

 Responsible for helping build up a business by identifying new business prospects,

generate ideas, concepts, and system for achieving more sales.

2. FMCG (Primary Focus):

 Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the FMCG product portfolio: identifying

growth opportunities, key accounts, channels (modern trade, traditional trade, ecommerce),new product launches and market entry.

 Set and monitor sales targets, margin targets, and profitability for FMCG lines; analyze

performance, variances, and corrective actions.

 Lead trade marketing, promotions, merchandising, in-store execution and shopper

activation efforts; collaborate with marketing, sales and channel teams.

 Drive effective distribution and logistics for FMCG: ensure product availability, timely

deliveries, correct stock levels and minimal out-of-stocks or wastage. Interface with

supply chain & warehouse functions.

 Manage relationships with key customers (retail chains, distributors, wholesalers) and

negotiate commercial terms, listings, trade spend, promotions and incentives.

 Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, food-safety, labeling and packaging standards

in FMCG operations.

3. Agri-Commodities (supporting role):

 Support or lead trading / procurement of selected Agri-commodities (e.g., grains, pulses,

oilseeds) for internal usage or external distribution, in coordination with the supply chain

and procurement teams

 Monitor global/local Agri-commodity market trends (supply, demand, weather, trade

policies) and provide strategic input for sourcing decisions, risk mitigation, inventory

strategies and cost optimization.

 Collaborate with the FMCG side to evaluate opportunities to integrate Agri-commodities

(raw ingredients) into finished FMCG products, aligning sourcing strategy with product

development and cost targets.

 Develop supplier and grower relationships, negotiate contracts, monitor commodity

pricing trends, hedge where applicable, and ensure timely delivery and quality

compliance.

4. Customer and Supplier Sourcing:

 Identify and establish relationships with potential domestic and international customers

and suppliers (Growers/Traders/Millers) in the agriculture commodities trading industry.

 Track and analyze the activities and strategies of competitors in the agriculture

commodities trading sector.

 Maintaining customer satisfaction by keeping them updated on the progress of their

orders and following-up daily their provided shipping instructions -planning it accordingly

with the concerned departments.

 Ensure all orders meet regulatory compliance and quality standards.

 Coordinate and manage the end-to-end order process by collaborating with logistics

partners (shippers and freight forwarders) and related authorities, in order placement,

shipment scheduling, and tracking. Making sure to resolve any issues and ensure on-time

delivery.

 Oversee the payment process for both customers and suppliers, ensuring timely and

accurate transactions.

5. Inventory Management:

 Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize losses and

discrepancies by conducting regular stock counts and reconcile variances.

 Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory.

 Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all warehouse activities.

6. Report Generation

8. Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

 Must have at least 5 years of work experience in the similar industry –Trading of Agro

Commodities (Like FMCG, Pulses, Grains and Spices, Nuts and Dry frits, Coffee etc.)

 Mandatory experience working with the FMCG industry.

 Arabic, English speaking (Mandatory), French recommended.
