Job Description:


Employer Relations


• Establish and maintain relationships with prospective employers to promote for employer branding, students recruitment & career development activities

• Conduct meetings with potential employers when needed to market for offered services to serve the welfare of the GIU calibers

• Handle accounts of employers to assist them in their on campus requests, Industrial visits, recruitment or development events participation

• Support the employers in executing their employer branding activities on campus (i.e. sessions, competitions, hackathons, workshops, etc.)


Students Services


• Handle students inquiries through career center e-mail, walk-ins or calls

• Assist students in their internship application through issuance of support letters for hosting company/entity

• Conduct frequent induction/orientation for students about GIU Internship program

• Screen and review the learning and development requests of AWGs (active working groups)

Internship Management

• Assist in drafting internship evaluation documents

• Coordinate with the IT department for internal system creation

• Monitor the workflow of the internship internal review process

• Coordinate with internal faculties’ members for internship approval and placements

• Follow-up with the industry to ensure that both the students and the employers are on track

• Prepare regular reports about students industrial experience in the internship and industry insights


Career Development


• Conduct frequent research about students’ needs and the up-to-date job hunting education trends

• Assist in planning and setting the yearlong activities outline and timeline

• Set students communication & marketing plan along with materials preparation

• Schedule and conduct ongoing rounds of resume review through academic year

• Develop e-content for career & talents development


Qualifications


Education and/or Experience:


• BA in management preferably HR, and/or Marketing background

• 0 – 2 years of experience in HR, career services, talent development or marketing is preferred

• Excellent presentation & communication skills

• Perfect Command of English

• Self- motivated, Punctual, Responsible & Dynamic

• Ability to take new initiatives and implement them

• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment

• Ability to work under pressure & Meet deadlines

• Strong follow up skills

• Strong project management or organizational skills


Technical Qualifications:


• Account management experience

• Previous experience in event management is a plus

• Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power Point)

• Exposure of Branding / PR and client servicing experience

• Basic graphic design skills (i.e. canva.com) is a plus
