Internship - Mortgage Servicing

Position Overview: As an Intern at Selene Finance, you will immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of residential and commercial loan servicing. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience across key areas, including loan analysis, portfolio management, IT and process optimization. Working closely with industry professionals, you will support critical projects, gain exposure to proprietary technologies, and contribute to innovative solutions that drive client success.


What You’ll Do: As a Mortgage Servicing Intern, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of the mortgage lifecycle and contribute to key initiatives. Your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in loan analysis and portfolio management for residential and commercial loans.

  • Supporting the development of tailored strategies for performing and non-performing loans.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance servicing processes.

  • Conducting market research and presenting findings to improve client solutions.

  • Participating in meetings with investors, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Learning to utilize proprietary technology and industry tools for efficiency and innovation.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking ambitious individuals who are eager to learn and grow. Ideal candidates will:

  • Be pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Sophomores and Juniors will be considered for the 2025 program.

  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Be proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
