Responsibilities:
- Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support our customer’s unique mission needs
- Work with key stakeholders to accomplish goals and objectives to support SAIC’s project/program portfolio
- Build awareness and experience of key capability skills in support of SAIC business efforts
- Conduct data and process analysis to support development of key solutions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions in these technical fields
Internship Focus Areas:
- Data Engineering & Analytics: Maximizing data in its raw format and elegantly engineering, transforming, modeling, visualizing, and streaming it into the fabric of modern products and outstanding customer experiences
- Decision Science (AI, ML, & Intelligent Automation): Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and other automation technologies to help drive better decisions, automate processes, and eliminate manual activities
- Software Engineering: Engineering custom, fast, clean, and reliable code that drives business outcomes
- Cloud, DevOps & Security: Architecture, Engineering, and Automation professionals focused on developing cloud policy as code, compliance as code, infrastructure as code, and continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) product pipelines
- Business Operations: Finance, Contracts (Legal), Process Management, Supply Chain & Logistics; Marketing & Communications, Human Resources to help bridge strategy and execution, managing resources like staff, technology, and workflows to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability

Qualifications

Current enrollment at George Mason University in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, AI/ML, Engineering, History, English, Business, Economics or a related field with one year or more of college coursework completed

A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Have a passion for a career in technology

U.S. Citizen- some roles may require the ability to obtain a security clearance (position dependent)
Target salary range: Up to $40,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
