Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pain Management Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, utilizing a variety of interventional techniques and therapies. This role requires a strong understanding of pain management protocols, patient assessment, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.

Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate pain levels and underlying conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, physical therapy, and interventional procedures.
- Utilize EHR systems and EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
- Perform interventional procedures such as botulinum toxin treatment, IV infusion, and other pain management techniques.
- Collaborate with specialists in areas such as psychiatry, cardiology, gastroenterology, and neurology to ensure holistic patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on clinical outcomes.
- Educate patients on pain management strategies, health coaching, and lifestyle modifications to improve their quality of life.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Pain Management or related field.
- Proven experience in acute pain management, outpatient care, and chronic pain treatment.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques (CT, MRI) and interventional radiology practices.
- Proficiency in using EHR systems such as Epic for patient documentation.
- Strong background in critical care experience is preferred; familiarity with perioperative care is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding, and clinical research practices.
