Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fabric Assistant to support our fabric inventory and logistics operations. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of fabric types and GSM (Grams per Square Meter), along with basic computer skills to manage delivery and stock records efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and classify fabrics based on type, quality, and GSM.
• Maintain accurate records of fabric stock received and dispatched.
• Prepare and update Delivery Challans for incoming and outgoing fabric.
• Ensure timely dispatch of fabric to warehouse.
• Assist in fabric inspection and documentation as needed.
• Use MS Excel to manage stock data and create basic reports.
• Coordinate with the procurement and warehouse teams for inventory tracking.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the fabric storage area.

Requirements:

• 10th or 12th pass (Minimum qualification).
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a textile industry is preferable however freshers with basic knowledge in Ms. excel & those who can easily identify the Gsm & variety of the fabric can also apply.
• Basic knowledge of fabric types and ability to identify fabric GSM.
• Experience or familiarity with handling fabric stock is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills with working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and a systematic approach to work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Punctual, responsible, and proactive.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in textile, garment, or fabric store handling.
• Knowledge of fabric rolls, swatches, and storage procedures.
• Basic communication skills in Hindi and/or English.

Salary: 12K

Working Hours: 9am-6.30 pm
Reporting To: Fabric Manager / Store In-charge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
