Inventory Assistant

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Assistant to support our operations across multiple locations throughout the U.S. In this role, you will oversee inventory processes, manage cleaning supplies and equipment distribution, and help ensure our field teams—regardless of location—are fully equipped to deliver excellent service. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting consistent service quality nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, tools, equipment, and uniforms across various locations
• Perform regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Ensure storage areas are organized, labeled, and compliant with safety standards
• Prepare, assemble, and coordinate distribution of supplies to teams in different regions
• Track product usage trends and recommend timely reorders to prevent shortages
• Maintain accurate inventory records using internal systems or spreadsheets
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage orders, deliveries, and returns nationwide
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming shipments
• Provide administrative support related to inventory and logistics operations
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, retail, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Excel or inventory management systems
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams and locations
• Reliable, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
