Job Description – Inventory Audit Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodic stock counts (cycle counts, spot checks, and annual audits) across retail outlets and warehouses.
  • Verify stock accuracy by reconciling physical counts with system records (ERP/POS).
  • Identify stock discrepancies, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor inventory movements, including transfers, returns, and adjustments, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Review and analyze stock aging, shrinkage, and obsolescence to highlight risk areas.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, variances, and recommendations.
  • Support internal and external audit teams during inventory-related reviews.
  • Collaborate with retail, supply chain, and warehouse teams to strengthen inventory controls.
  • Assist in developing and implementing inventory audit policies, SOPs, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with financial, operational, and audit standards.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory management or audit (retail fashion industry experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/POS systems.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
