WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, recording and processing of material report reports through use of WMS system.
- Research and reconciliations of discrepancies.
- Maintain daily cleanliness of department.
- Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity, responsible for completing physical inventories, cycle counts, audits, reconciliations.
- Report inventory balances and cycle counts in both the ERP and WMS systems.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing transaction reports and transfers.
- Assist warehouse and customer service team in locating materials and all other essential duties.
- Ensure inventory accuracy within the processing areas, system and process quality as well as vendor compliance and/or outbound shipment to our customers.
- Perform required administrative and general office/clerical duties. Individuals in these positions must work cooperatively with other Associates, vendors, carriers, and productively with little/some supervision.
- Must be detail-oriented and have proven time management skills.
- Manages equipment, materials, and warehousing inventory.
- Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
- Communicates with customers on mandated days to make contact, advise of changes, delays, etc. in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepares and forwards documents for shipment processing on each order.
- Prepares reports for management review.
- Prepares and maintains customer’s inventory reports in our system and sometimes the customer’s system as well.
- Tracks the status of each customer’s shipment when applicable.
- Communicates with manager, supervisor, and customer service regarding problems and concerns with shipments.

High school diploma or GED or equivalent; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic knowledge of warehouse operations.
COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel word processing software, as well as familiarity in WMS/ERP systems.
LANGUAGE Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
MATHEMATICAL Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
