Storekeeper

Store Keeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and accounting for materials, tools, equipment, and products within the store or warehouse. This role ensures that stock is maintained accurately, securely, and efficiently to support operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming goods, check for accuracy and damage, and verify against purchase orders.
  • Label, categorize, and store inventory in designated areas following proper procedures.
  • Maintain updated records of stock using manual logs or inventory management software.
  • Issue materials and products to departments or individuals based on authorized requisitions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify the procurement department of low stock or overstock situations.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with recorded data.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storage environment.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all stock movements (receipts, issues, returns).
  • Assist with periodic audits and reporting of inventory status.
  • Follow safety and security protocols for handling and storing goods.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in inventory or warehouse management is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a storekeeper, inventory clerk, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of inventory software and basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, ERP systems).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with safety and handling procedures, especially for hazardous or perishable items.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
