Storekeeper

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient performance.

· Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials, equipment and supplies against purchase orders.

· Monitor stock levels and place orders to replenish supplies as per store demand.

· Ensure proper labeling, stacking, handling practices and storage of materials to minimize loss, breakage and prevent damage.

· Prepare delivery notes, goods receipt notes, and maintain store-related documentation.

· Issue materials to site teams based on requisitions and maintain accurate records.

· Coordinate with Procurement, Site engineers and other departments as required.

· Update inventory logs and lead the periodic stock counts.

· Prepare daily/weekly inventory, material usage reports and identify discrepancies.

· Handle the documentation and record-keeping for all inventory-related transactions diligently.

· Implement company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, secure, and compliant work environment.

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations systematically.

· Train and supervise junior staff, offering guidance on efficient inventory management practices.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or Diploma in Supply Chain/Store Management preferred with additional training in inventory management.

· 2–4 years’ experience in store/warehouse operations,

· Knowledge of stock management, inventory control.

· Familiarity with construction materials, tools and equipment.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

· Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers and team members.

* Ability to lift and move heavy items safely without assistance when necessary.
