Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, analyzing supply chain processes, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This position requires strong skills in data analysis, procurement, and inventory management to optimize our inventory control systems and support overall business objectives.

Please note: Spanish fluency is required, and being bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus.

Duties

  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with supply chain management to enhance warehouse distribution efficiency.
  • Manage purchasing activities, including negotiation with suppliers and sourcing materials.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and optimize stock replenishment.
  • Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Support category management initiatives by providing data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Engage in process improvement projects to streamline operations within the supply chain.
  • Assist in demand planning efforts by analyzing historical data and forecasting future needs.
  • Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau to present findings effectively.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers for effective supplier management and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during materials handling and shipping & receiving processes.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Spanish (required); bilingual English/Spanish (strongly preferred)
  • Strong background in supply chain analytics, logistics, and warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis skills, including experience with SQL for data mining and reporting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., AS400) and MRP processes for inventory control.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis techniques related to pricing and financial modeling.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and retail management practices is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during materials handling tasks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and demand planning strategies.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Previous experience in merchandising, procurement, or production planning is beneficial.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
