POSITION SUMMARY: The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient material flow, and supporting production operations. This role involves data entry, reconciling inventory, and collaborating with purchasing and production to ensure inventory accuracy in a manufacturing environment using ERP systems and physical counts.

Schedule: 5:00am - 1:30pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain and update inventory levels through regular cycle counts and reconciliation using ERP system.
  • Receive, label, and store incoming materials and supplies in designated locations.
  • Pick parts and materials according to work orders or production schedules.
  • Assemble kits for production jobs, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Track inventory movements in the ERP system.
  • Ensure inventory practices comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory.
  • Investigate, collaborate, and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with purchasing and production teams.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
  • Maintain clean and organized inventory storage areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical training preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in inventory control or warehousing preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic math and data entry skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
