Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Parts Manager to oversee the parts department in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory and ensuring efficient operations within the parts department. This role requires strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Duties

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of parts while minimizing excess stock.
  • Oversee procurement management processes, including sourcing and purchasing of automotive parts and supplies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Utilize ERP systems and CMMS for effective inventory management and data entry.
  • Implement demand planning strategies to forecast parts needs based on service department requirements.
  • Supervise shipping & receiving processes to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations in warehouse management and equipment operation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting technicians and customers with parts inquiries and orders.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the automotive service team to support repair operations through effective parts management.

Skills

  • Proficient in automotive diagnostics, repair processes, and mechanical knowledge relevant to the industry.
  • Experience with warehouse management practices, including shipping & receiving operations.
  • Familiarity with order management systems and data entry processes for accurate inventory tracking.
  • Knowledge of auto body repair techniques, OEM standards, and equipment repair practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.

Projected Total Compensation: $42,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
