Inventory Controller

Job Purpose:

To ensure accurate and efficient control of company inventory across all locations. The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining stock accuracy, managing stock levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring smooth inventory flow to support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management

Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient supply of all items.

Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.

Perform regular cycle counts and full stock audits.

  • Stock Movement & Documentation

Track and record all stock movements: goods received, issued, returned, or transferred.

Reconcile physical stock with system data and report discrepancies.

Coordinate with relevant departments on stock-related matters.

  • Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and submit inventory reports to management.

Monitor slow-moving and obsolete items.

Assist in forecasting and demand planning based on consumption trends.

  • System & Process Improvement

Ensure timely and accurate data entry into ERP/inventory systems.

Support implementation of inventory control policies and procedures.

Suggest improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.

  • Compliance & Coordination

Ensure inventory handling complies with company policies and regulations.

Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and sales teams.

Support internal and external audits as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory software/ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and report generation.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
